Our Contributors & Donors

The Natural Resources Academy Conservation Ambassador Program is primarily funded through private giving, and leveraged with support from various University of Connecticut (UConn) departments. The NRCA CAP began in 2011 as the result of a very generous 5-year donation from a private foundation. The program has also been supported by the Goldring Family Foundation, the Peter Grayson Letz Fund for Animals and the Environment, the Diebold Foundation, the SURDNA Foundation, and the Connecticut Institute for Resilience & Climate Adaptation (CIRCA) Matching Fund Program.

Intramural support for the program has come from the Department of Natural Resources & the Environment, the Center for Environmental Sciences & Engineering, the College of Agriculture, Health & Natural Resources, and the Office of the Provost.

Thank you to our sponsors who have provided a scholarship to students-in-need to participate in NRCA CAP:

Energize CT
Essex Land Trust
Land Heritage Coalition
Salisbury Trust
CT State Museum of Natural History
CT Urban Forest Council

To ensure that students can participate in NRCA CAP regardless of income we offer a reduced tuition to all students and provide program fee-waivers to those needing assistance. To support a student and the Conservation Ambassador Program, please visit http://s.uconn.edu/givenrca.
