For Teachers

The objective of NRCA's Conservation Ambassador Program is to give high school students that are interested in science the tools and knowledge to carry out their own real-life science project within their local community and contribute to the conservation of natural resources in Connecticut.

Students that would like to apply need a Conservation Ambassador Online Teacher Recommendation to be submitted by an educator in order to be considered for enrollment in the NRCA's Conservation Ambassador Program. Teachers can submit the Conservation Ambassador Online Teacher Recommendation form or a personal letter of recommendation by April 1, 2017. If you prefer to submit a personal letter instead of the online form, please email it to (be sure to put "Teacher Recommendation" in the subject line) or mail it to:

Natural Resources Conservation Academy
University of Connecticut
1376 Storrs Rd., Unit 4087
