Field experience dates & location:

July 19 - 25, 2020 at UConn, Storrs Campus

Conservation project dates:

June 2020 to February 2021 to be completed in your own town or region, at your own pace, with mentor guidance

Connecticut Conference on Natural Resources dates: March 2021 at UConn, Storrs Campus

Program Fee: Our program fees are determined by a sliding scale that takes into account annual household income and number of claimed dependents. Additional financial assistance may also be provided on a case by case basis

Applications due by April 30, 2020.

About CAP

The NRCA Conservation Ambassador Program is great for high school students (grades 9 to 11) who are interested in the environment, science, and community engagement. Through a week-long field experience at UConn and a community conservation project, this program engages high school students in natural resource science and conservation biology in a fun and exciting way through experiential, place-based learning.
